    • The Marchand Public Engagement Initiative is supporting an exhibit that focuses on the life and legacy of the first Latino Associate Justice of the California Supreme Court. The project seeks to educate viewers about the Mexican-American social experience in the twentieth century and how it spurred political action. Additionally, the Marchand Intern leading this project received funding from the Office of Academic Diversity to hire undergraduates who are assisting with the creation of an accompanying digital exhibit. The project will also be transformed into a curriculum project with a K-12 reach in the coming months.
