Students will question, examine, interpret, corroborate, and explain what it means to be a good citizen and the behaviors that represent good citizenship. Students will answer the investigative question, How can we learn and work together? Using school safety as an example of people learning and working together, students will investigate how people — kids and adults — have come together to ensure that students arrive to school safely, and how school safety has changed over time.
