A 4-day teacher institute focused on the history, culture, and knowledge of the Wintun/Patwin homeland facilitated by leaders from Save California Salmon, Yocha Dehe, the California History-Social Science Project, the Sacramento Area Science Project, County Offices of Education, and UC Davis. Open to 3rd and 4th-grade teachers in Yolo/Solano/Colusa counties!

Participants will gain support for appropriate, respectful, and engaging classroom implementation. The program is designed to increase teachers’ confidence and competency in leading classroom lessons that center the Wintun/Patwin people. 

Program will include: $400 Stipend, Lunch, Parking Fees
